We want to call our restaurant The Bistronome. The Bistronome will be a new modern full-service Californian coastal restaurant that would fit well the 1525 Garnet Avenue address in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego. The Bistronome will target both fun-seeking and more sophisticated clients looking for tasty and fresh food in a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Clients will be able to appreciate either the pairing of food and beer during sports events or wine and casual menus for a beautiful evening.

Throughout her life, Karine has loved taking the time to bake pastries and desserts for her family. Her four children, who were first to enjoy these tasty treats, have always encouraged her to pursue her passion beyond the doors of the family home. When Kevin, one of her four biggest fans, opened his first restaurant and offered her the position of pastry chef, he knew he would make her dream come true. What he also knew was that her passion and expertise would inevitably attract customers from all around San Diego to have a taste of the French tradition. She is a master of classics like the croissant, the chouquette, the crepe, and the pain au chocolat. But her specialty is the financier, undoubtedly the best soft almond cake you’ll have in Pacific Beach!!!
